About Sniff and Go

We're not dog walkers.
We're dog pros.

A small, dedicated team of certified dog professionals serving San Francisco since 2009. Every walker is trained in behavior, body language, first aid, and positive reinforcement.

The Founder

Meet Emi

Emi, founder of Sniff and Go, with her family and Westie dogs
CPDT-KA Certified | she/her

Owner and Founder

After attending San Diego State University, Emi's passion for animals and business education led her to launch Sniff and Go in April 2009.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, she attended the Dog Training Internship Academy to deepen her understanding of dog behavior. That experience kicked off a new journey into the science behind behavior and better ways to serve San Francisco's dog parents.

Today, Emi focuses on training and supporting the Sniff and Go team. She passed the CPDT-KA exam in 2024. She lives in San Francisco with her husband Paul, their son, and two adopted senior Westie shelter dogs.

Our Mission

Peace of mind. Happy dogs. More time in your day.

We provide a dog walking service that gives you peace of mind, a happy and tired dog, and a reliable routine that puts more time back into your busy days.

Our Vision

Changing what dog care looks like.

We want to end punishment-based dog care and prove that experience and education create skilled professionals who better serve dogs and their humans alike.

Our Commitment to a Diverse Workforce

A team as unique as the dogs we walk

The dog is the most diverse animal on the planet. We always want to learn more from them.

The most important lesson we will ever learn from our dogs is to embrace that same diversity.

Sniff and Go will always strive to have a team as wonderfully unique as the dogs in our care.
