Service Agreement

Description of Services

Sniff and Go will travel to the Client's location, within the designated service area to provide on-leash, single-family household, dog walks, in and around the Client's neighborhood for a set, pre-determined, duration of time of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

Services are completed in two-hour Start Time Windows, based on and confirmed by current Sniff and Go availability, weekdays, Monday through Friday, starting between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

Start Time Windows are not able to have a specific start time.

Services require access to Clients' homes for pickup and drop-off.

Services may include the following: on-leash private dog walks, basic training limited to on-leash dog walking, feeding, providing water, giving treats, transportation, admittance to a veterinarian's clinic or dog hospital for emergency care, and other agreed upon dog-related services. Services are valid for dogs only.

Standards of Care and Responsibility

Sniff and Go aligns with multiple professional organizations and will only support tools, resources, and routines that align with positive reinforcement theories and methods. Use of aversive tools such as prong collars, electric collars, etc. will not be used while under the care of Sniff and Go. Such tools will be removed before Services begin, and will not be replaced on the dog after Services are complete.

Sniff and Go will avoid taking the dog out of the house if the dog is showing body language that is consistent with feeling nervous or uncertain. Alternate options will be in place and relayed to the Client.

Sniff and Go will make all reasonable efforts to provide the highest levels of safety, quality, and care of the Client's dog while Services are provided but can make no guarantee that such efforts will be sufficient in all circumstances.

Sniff and Go may use high-value reinforcers while in service.

When entering into services with Sniff and Go, the Client is hiring trained dog walkers as opposed to dog trainers.

Dog Vaccinations

Required: Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza

Highly Recommended: Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Dog Influenza

Team of Employees

The Client acknowledges that Sniff and Go prioritizes the proper classification of our staff in an industry that is currently not regulated.

Sniff and Go goes through multiple steps to ensure our team is consistent and universally trained. In addition to 4 weeks of in-house training, Sniff and Go also cross-trains all employees to be able to care for any dogs on Sniff and Go's schedule.

Sniff and Go will cross-train between employees for training, maintenance, consistency, and assistance of Services. There may be times when more than one Sniff and Go employee, but no more than two, will be inside the Client's home to complete scheduled Services during cross-training periods.

Sniff and Go provides criminal background checks on all employees at the Federal, State, and local levels. Sniff and Go holds general business liability insurance, Employee Dishonesty insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.

Quarterly Route Updates

Sniff and Go conducts quarterly Route Updates to enhance operational efficiency. The team of employees are not guaranteed and may change.

Membership Plan Terms of Service

General:

Client Requested Cancellation: When a Client requests a daily cancellation, the time is used for Ongoing Education and Company Updates for the Sniff and Go Team and does not lower the monthly rate of the Membership Plan.

Business Requested Accommodation: Sniff and Go reserves the right to modify walk lengths to accommodate unknown employee staffing emergencies and/or inclement weather patterns. Credits for accommodations will be added to the Client profile.

Cancellation of Membership Plans: Approved after the initial 1-month minimum is met and the request to cancel is made by the 15th of the month prior by emailing Hello@SniffAndGo.com.

Flexible Scheduling Walks

Available after initial one-month minimum requirement is met. Dogs must be comfortable with our team of walkers and non-reactive to other dogs they may see while out on walks.

Release and Assumption of Risk

The Client acknowledges that the Services offered may be an activity in which damage or injury to dogs and/or persons may occur. The Client understands the inherent risks including minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, hazards of traffic, dangerous animals, dog aggression, exposure to unfamiliar stimuli, all types of weather, and uncertainties of caring for injured, sick, or elderly dogs.

Authorization for Medical Care

The Client authorizes Sniff and Go to admit the dog for emergency medical care if deemed necessary. The Client agrees to assume all responsibility and financial liability resulting from medical care.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, Sniff and Go reserves the right to modify visits to maintain safety.

Home Access

Sniff and Go must have reliable access to perform services. Please ensure walkways are clear of debris and hazards.

Scheduling System

Sniff and Go uses a third-party scheduling system for daily journals, photos, checklists, scheduling, and billing.

Payments

All Services require a valid credit card processed through Stripe.

Media

Sniff and Go may use photographs or videos of dogs for promotional purposes. To opt out, email Hello@SniffAndGo.com.

Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify Sniff and Go and its agents from liability or loss arising from this contract.

Severability

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of other provisions.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time by notice to the other. Should legal action be taken, the Client agrees to mediation first, then arbitration. This contract shall be governed by California law.
