The Neighborhood

A dense, walkable neighborhood we know inside and out

The Castro centers on Castro Street and Market, anchored by Harvey Milk Plaza and the giant rainbow flag flying overhead. It's flat where it matters, dense with foot traffic, and home to one of the most walkable commercial strips in San Francisco.

For us, walks happen on the residential blocks right around your home, mostly on the quieter side streets off Castro and 18th. We're not running destination expeditions to Duboce Park or Corona Heights. The focus is private, on-leash walks on the streets your dog already knows.

The Castro mixes Victorian flats, modern condos, and walk-ups with security gates. We handle access details during onboarding so your walker is never stuck on the stoop trying to get in.

What Walks Look Like in the Castro

Private walks on the residential blocks just off Castro Street.

Trained for foot traffic

Castro and 18th Street fill up fast. Our walkers read body language constantly and know which side streets stay calmer when the main blocks get loud.

Quiet-block routing

The blocks just off Castro Street stay calmer than the main strip. We use them for steady residential walks paced to your dog's age and energy.

Coded entries handled

Security gates, walk-up Victorians, mid-rise condos. Access details are set up during onboarding so your walker never delays the start of the walk.
